March of Dimes Signature Chefs Auction

Join us for Toledo’s Signature Chefs Auction, which will showcase the culinary talents of local chefs and restaurants while raising money to support the March of Dimes mission to improve the health of babies by preventing premature birth, birth defects, and infant mortality. The evening is filled with unforgettable menu items, wine pairings, and bidding on a unique assortment of live and silent auction packages.  Tastings and bidding on silent auction items begins at 5:30PM until 7:30PM.  The program, which includes the live auction and Fund the Mission, begins promptly after the silent auction tables close at 7:30PM. Check-out will open at 8:45PM as the live auction concludes.

Ultimate Tri-Cure-A-Thon | Create Away Cancer Art Auction

Whitehouse Village Park – 6751 Providence St, Whitehouse, Ohio 43571

Register for the CureSearch Ultimate Tri-Cure-A-Thon to tell children’s cancer to take a hike! Participants can choose to do a 12 mile Hike, or 30 mile Bike, or 1-3 mile Fun-Walk. The event will start and end in the Village Park in Whitehouse, Ohio. Hikers will hike 12 miles of trails in Oak Openings Preserve Metropark. Bikers will bike a total of 30 miles on the South Fork of the Wabash Cannonball Trail. Fun-Walkers will be walking 1-3 miles on a loop trail in Village Park and through the Blue Creek Conservation area. You will be participating in support of children battling cancer, survivors of children’s cancer, or in memory of lives lost to children’s cancer. Then it’s time for a nice dinner in Whitehouse Village Park while enjoying a comedy/magic show, and some wacky-fun games such as Human Foosball or Human Hungry, Hungry Hippos. The evening will also feature the Create Away Cancer Art Auction where local young artists will auction their great masterpieces to benefit CureSearch.

Hosted by Susan and Allan Block, celebrated chef and season two Top Chef Masters alumni, Susan Feniger will prepare a tantalizing menu sure to delight your taste buds .

Susan Feniger, who originates from right here in Toledo, is a world-renown chef, restaurateur, cookbook author, radio and TV personality, co-owner and chef of the Border Grill Restaurants and Food Truck in Santa Monica, LA and Las Vegas. In 2013, the California Restaurant Association awarded Feniger with the Elizabeth Burns Lifetime Achievement Award. Susan Feniger is known for both her passion for food and her love of animals.

Habitat for Humanity of Monroe County – Power of the Pocketbook – Purse Auction

Monroe area women are invited to attend the second annual “The Power of the Pocketbook” held on Thursday, May 1st from 11AM-1PM at the Monroe Golf and Country Club in Monroe.

The event will feature a live purse auction presented by auctioneer Pamela Rose from Toledo,OH. The goal of this event is to money to build a Habitat home. This event also provides a great social and networking opportunity for women who not only want to see a positive change in the community-they want to create it!

“I feel honored to be a part of this event and work with Habitat and the women homeowners”, said Renee Darrow, Chair of the Women’s Leadership Committee. “We would love to see a sold out crowd of women who want to support and empower other women to prosper and thrive!”

Our 11th annual “signature” event – Homes Sweet Homes! The purpose of this event is to help raise money to purchase building materials needed to build our first home in 2014! With a mission of “bringing people together to build homes, communities, and hope” we desire to give a hand-up to families in need of simple, decent, and affordable homes. By investing in each family and each home we ensure a better and brighter community.

This festive holiday event features an evening of great auction items, door prizes, and raffles all while enjoying hors d’oeuvres catered by River Raisin Catering. We expect between 200-300 guests at this event and our goal is to raise over $50,000. We hope you can join us for an evening of FUN as we build homes and change lives!

Signature Chefs Auction pays tribute to the culinary excellence of local chefs and caterers from our community while raising significant revenue to help in the fight to save babies. Local chefs and caterers present their signature dishes in tasting size portions during a cocktail reception where you can also taste wines from across the country!

During the reception, guests enjoy a large silent auction consisting of items such as signed memorabilia, jewelry, gift certificates, art and much, much more! A live auction follows with packages that may include unique dinners, country club golf, Florida vacations, and weekend getaways!

This year, Toledo Opera is fifty years old and its Sapphire Ball is forty-eight. The first of its kind in Toledo, the Sapphire Ball has been the model for many of the fundraising events that have taken place in Toledo over the past decades. The ball continues to set the standard as an elegant, entertaining event that provides major support for Toledo Opera. Proceeds from the event provide 10% of the funds needed to produce operas of the highest quality in Toledo.

The Victory Center – Treasures of the Vine
October 1, 2004

The Victory Center provides non-medical support services to individuals living with cancer in support of their pursuit of recovery and to promote education and prevention techniques. Pamela hosted and auctioned packages to benefit the Center.
Pamela Rose was the Auctioneer for the evenings event.


Jamie Farr Owens Corning Classic – LPGA’s Opening Gala
August 3, 2004

Pamela Rose hosted the LPGA’s Opening Gala with a 5-minute auction, generating $22,500. The monies benefit local children’s charities. At the event, Pamela got to meet Jamie Farr and Patrick Duffy, “Bobby Ewing”.

The Toledo Opera – Blame the Champagne

Pamela hosted this event that supports Toledo Opera’s fully staged operas and their nationally recognized education and outreach programs. The event raised more than $25,000 and was attended by over 200 people.

City of Toledo – It’s Reining Frogs
October 21, 2001
SeaGate Convention Centre

33 Frogs Sell for $110,000 at Auction More than 400 frog fans attended the “It’s Reigning Frogs Auction” held at the Seagate Centre. They bid farewell to a summer long infestation of statues around the streets of Toledo, Ohio. Tickets to the live event were $75.00. Bidding was lively on 33 live auction frogs and bid’s upwards of $6,800 resulted in the bidding. The auctioneers raised an estimated $110,000. Some frogs we’re bought by corporate sponsors and other destine for lawn ornaments. Funds generated from the event would be split between Citifest, the arts commission, and a charity chosen by the park fund which is the New York City Firefighters relief fund. International Auction Champion and local auctioneer Pamela Rose and team supported the event and helped raise the monies through the auction event.
